IOT (Internet of things) is a hot concept in the year of 2016. From the intelligent home appliances to the cameras in the corner of a shopping mall, any devices that can be connected to any types of sensors and output the data could be deemed as one part of IOT. It might be next internet phenomenon that contains enormous market and potentials.
But what LED displays can do with this big chance? LED display is a carrier and channel of the advertisement, which reflects the nature of this product. So I believe a conceivable solution is constructing a platform that can sharing information like where and how the advertisement values more. By getting and analyzing passengers and traffic flow, information like how many people are there a day and the basic consumption level could be obtained. This kind of data could help the investor of the display or person who want advertise on the display to have more efficient choice. We can imagine in the near future the advertisement will be more target-oriented and get higher rate of investment.
However before enjoying the new chance, we have to face the challenge. How to build the internet of displays? QSTECH is going to release the new NOC (Network Operation Center). It will be a natural platform for connecting the displays together. Maybe 5 years later, we could have comments on NOC to share our ideas like how good your service providers are and how fast the they response; and knowing what might be the usual failure types and its quick solutions.
“Focus and create” will guide us to a beat the challenge and grab the tendency of IOT, the profit and honor.
